COVID-19 /  CoronaVirus

We're committed to your safety and well-being

We know that there are lots of concerns about the current situation and the uncertainty that everybody is feeling at this time. Our first priority is to protect the safety of our customers and our people. We continue to run as normal at this time.

We are continuing with rigorous cleaning regimes in our reception, kennels and cattery buildings. We use sanitising wipes for regularly touched areas around doors and handles including desks and the card machine.

We are using social distancing to help further reduce risk. Therefore our main gate will remain locked and we will make arrangements with you for drop off and collection times.  Going forward all collections and drop offs will be at pre-arranged times only.

If you think you may have the virus then please do not attend our site.

To help manage social distancing and reduce risk to all we are now asking that all customers only attend at their designated appointment.

Please call if you are going to be late / early so we can advise on if it is safe to attend site.

Please see our opening times page for full details.

If you think that you have the virus and want to collect your pet

Please be sensible and respectful of others during this time.  If you think you have the virus or have elected to self isolate for any reason then if possible arrange for your pet to be collected as normal by your designated emergency contact or a family friend. Please call us as soon as you are able to, to confirm who will be collecting your pet. If you do not know anyone who is able to collect on your behalf then please call us to discuss the options.

  • You can opt to extend the stay for your pet, this may be the best option for all concerned.
  • You can collect your pet in person subject to prior arrangement. Please read any government or NHS advice before deciding if this is a practical and safe option. This will ensure that both you, our staff and the general public are not exposed unnecessarily

Our collection policy

If all other options are not possible : We will arrange a specific collection time with you. This will take place at a time when no other customers are expected onsite. We will take a card payment for the outstanding balance over the phone prior to collection of your pet (Cash is not acceptable in this case). When you arrive onsite please wait at the front gate. We will bring your pet to a collection point nearby and you can then pick up from there.

Whilst onsite please avoid touching anything more than necessary. We apologise for any additional inconvenience that this may cause you during this time

If you think you may have the virus then please do not attend our site without making arrangements as detailed here.

Please read our terms and conditions regarding deposits and cancellation policy.

  • Please provide sanitiser wipes or gel so we can clean lead / harness / carrier handles upon your arrival.
  • Do not bring any unnecessary items. No dog / cat toys, bowls, bedding, food.
  • If you really must drop your pet off in person (and only by prior arrangement). Please read any government or NHS advice before deciding if this is a practical and safe option. This will ensure that both you, our staff and the general public are not exposed unnecessarily.
